Bus

The bus station in Estepona is west of the old town next to the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos. Very easy to find if you're walking from the town, keep the sea to your right past Carrefour Supermarket and just up on the left. Always best to have small notes or change for bus fares.

The main bus services are operated by Portillo/Avanza that run along the coast and to other city destinations with Autocares Ricardo offering a local bus service.

Here's a link for the timetables and destinations, we have not published bus times as they do change during the seasons but here you will get the updated version Times & Destinations

Estepona to Gibraltar Airport

The bus does not go into Gibraltar but it's only a 15min walk from the bus station at La Linea to Gibraltar Airport. Best to get the bus from Estepona Bus Station and get the Directo to La Linea, faster and cheaper.

If that is not possible the M-240 bus will take nearly 2 hrs and stops along the coast taking in Costa Natura, Sabinillas, Duquesa, Torreguadiaro and other stops between, you can see the route and stops here

Local Buses in Estepona

Apart from the inter-city buses from Estepona, there are also local buses to take you around the town. These are L1 and L2. As you can see in the map below from the bus company Autocares Ricardo, the L1 loops around the whole town, while the L2 basically just shuttles people up and down the coastline.

Here is a link to the timetables for these buses.

If possible always buy your ticket in advance as it saves you a seat and if you're on a tight schedule it will save time and stress.
