The Cologne Chamber Philharmonic, DDC, was founded in 2003 in Cologne, Germany, a city famous internationally for its conservatory and music teachers. There, in the master classes of professors Viktor Tretjakov, Maria Kliegel, Robert Winn, Frans Helmerson, Zakhar Bron, Ralph Manno, the FDC continually recruits their talents. There are already more than 100 musicians who perform in various formations of the Philharmonic.
As a goal, he has set himself to make classical music sound all over the world, on a world tour through New Zealand, Australia, Spain and Great Britain, and through all of Germany.
The Philharmonic’s motto is that its repertoire is made up of the most select works. The special attraction of its program consists of the combination of popular works with other lesser-known ones, from different musical eras.
