Peña Flamenca – Armed Forces Square

The Estepona Town Hall informs that the next June 29 and July 1, at 9:00 p.m., the traditional ‘End of Course’ shows of the Estepona Peña Flamenca School will take place.
In the first place, on Thursday June 29, the guitar students will perform inside the Peña, located in the Plaza Fuerzas Armadas, and secondly, on Saturday 1, also at 9:00 p.m., the dance students , outside the Peña Flamenca.
For the occasion, the students will interpret the main styles of flamenco, such as soleares, tangos, seguiriyas, fandangos, jaleos, malagueñas, alegrías, bulerías…
Access to both performances will be free.
The Estepona Flamenco Club celebrates 50 years of history. Since it was founded in 1973, he has always taught Singing, Guitar and Dance classes at his School. The greatest exponents of local flamenco have passed through its stage, as well as other renowned artists.
It was from October 2010, with Alfonso Medel as president, when a new teaching project reemerged with force at the Escuela de la Peña Flamenca, under the artistic direction of dance teacher Antonio Trujillo and guitarist José Fernández.
During this course, almost thirty students of all ages have received guitar classes, and a hundred dance students
