All the museum spaces in the city will remain open free of charge from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
The Estepona City Council informs that a new edition of La Noche en Blanco will be held next Saturday, June 3. As usual in each edition, all the museum spaces in the city will remain open to the public from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. The entrance to them will be free.
This open day will be at the Mirador del Carmen, where citizens will be able to visit the exhibition ‘Living in painting. Spanish art in the Carmen Thyssen Bornemisza’ Collection, in the Botanical-Orquidario Park, in the Corominas Dolmen Center, in the Casa de Las Tejerinas and in the Municipal Archaeological Museum.
La Noche en Blanco 2023, which will be dedicated to the ‘Great Civilizations’, will also offer a series of free cultural and leisure activities in different areas of the city.
The first will begin at 8:00 p.m. with the ‘Great Civilizations’ parade, which will run along Avenida España. At 8:30 p.m. the shows ‘Fuego Azteca’ and ‘Lucha de Gladiadores’ will take place in García Caparrós square and La Rada beach, respectively.
At 9:00 p.m., the Municipal Music Band, directed by Maestro José Antonio López, will perform a concert of epic film soundtracks in the Plaza del Reloj.
At 9:30 p.m. there will be an exhibition of ancient oriental martial arts by the K-9 Estepona Kick Boxing Club in the García Caparrós square.
The program will continue at 10 pm with the zarzuela ‘La corte del Faraón’, which will be performed by the company Teatro Lírico Andaluz in the Plaza del Ajedrez.
At 10:00 p.m. it will be the turn of the humorist from Cádiz, Fernando Bernal, who will make us laugh with a monologue about ancient Greece in Plaza Antonia Guerrero.
On the other hand, the Mirador del Carmen will host two concerts that night. The first will be that of the singer Hugo Toscano, which will begin at 10:00 p.m.
At 11:00 p.m. the concert ‘Toreros con Chanclas’ will take place, the band that has emerged from the fusion of the mythical groups ‘Don’t tread on me, I’m wearing flip flops’ and ‘Los Toreros Muertos’. The artists Pablo Carbonell and Pepe Begines will review the greatest hits from their repertoires, which have become classics of humorous Spanish pop rock.
Finally, Noche en Blanco 2023 will feature the sixth edition of ‘Estepona Shopping Night’, in which the city’s establishments will offer discounts and promotions from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Participating businesses will be able to decorate their windows with the motif ‘Great Civilizations’. The winning business will receive a prize of a weekend in Rome for two people.
