The Estepona Town Hall informs that the El Carmen Sports Center will host next Saturday, September 2, the celebration of the XXVII Summer Table Tennis Tournament, one of the most traditional tournaments on the Costa del Sol.
This competition, which is organized by the Estepona Table Tennis Club (CTME), with the collaboration of the City Council, the company Achedosol Montes Torres and the sports magazine Jugador Doce, will feature players from different clubs from all corners of the Andalusian community. The organization estimates the participation of 70 to 80 players.
The Tournament will have two categories, Sub-15 and Absolute. In the morning, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the group phases will be played, each made up of five or six players, playing all against all, with the best of each group going to the direct knockouts.
For its part, the direct qualifying rounds will be played from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be trophies for the first three in both categories, and the best local sub-15 and absolute.
