Residents in Torre Vigía, Selwo Park, La Resinera and Las Joyas will soon benefit with a new corridor path along the river Las Cañas.
Estepona council have confirmed that technical drafts for the project are in place for an 800 meter pedestrian and cycling path that will join these communities to Calle Lima.
The project will be carried out in stages and will include a printed concrete path, lighting, seating, sport exercise equipment and urban furniture. This project will be very welcomed by local residents and visitors, giving pedestrian & cycle access along the river corridor and connect the coastal area at the mouth of the Taraje stream.
The project is expected to last for two and a half months once the contract has been awarded.
With almost 22 kilometres already connected along the coast line this will increase some of the great walks already available in Estepona.
