Tucked away a couple of streets baick from the paseo is Plaza Joaquin Cotes, home to Picasso’s Urban Tapas & Grill, the latest addition to Estepona’s growing number of great places to eat.
A short walk back from the paseo at the western end of town, Fay and her team have recently opened n Plaza Joaquin Cotes offering homemade tapas and they now offer an extended menu catering for all tastes. When I visited last week, I tried the Andalucian baked eggs for lunch and I thoroughly enjoyed my traditional meal. During my lunchtime visit, I enjoyed an interesting chat with Fay about her artworks which adorn the restaurant, and watched the delight on a young German couples faces with their toddler, when Fay provided them with colouring books and a seat for the youngster, so that the young family could relax and enjoy their lunch together.
The whole team are welcoming and attentive and will make every effort to make sure you have a pleasant mealtime, with excellent service. The location itself is relaxing, and the tree covered square adds to the chilled and traditional ambiance, being family and pet friendly.
I will return to this little gem and believe that once you have tried it you will too.
